is simple. We have a private fishing pond with lots of
big trout and we want to take you fishing!
Our fishing pond is located 30 miles from Laramie,
Wyoming in the beautiful and scenic Laramie Range.
We will fish on a 4 acre pond on a private ranch. This
pond is well stocked with big rainbow trout, 2-3
pound average size, and you may catch an
occasional wild brook trout as well.
We pride ourselves on offering a true Wyoming trout
fishing experience and fly fishing is a big part of this
experience, but don’t let that scare you if you are not
a flycaster. We can provide flycasting lessons, and
we would love to help you catch your first trout with a
fly rod, or say you want to skip the flycasting and get
to the fishing, we will set you up with a spinning rod
with a fly and bubble set up. This is a simple way to
cast a fly and is a great way to fish in windy
conditions.
Of course experienced flycasters are also welcome.
You will find this to be an exceptional fly fishing
pond. Lots of subsurface action with leech and scud
patterns and the dry fly fishing is incredible with
plentiful insect hatches.
Our fishing pond is completely secluded and we take
one group at a time. You will not find any of the
crowds or litter that you see at public fishing spots.
At Laramie Anglers Connection it's just you, your
friends and lots of big fish.
$150.00 per person
( half day )
» We only offer half day trips, 4-1/2 hours
» evening trips Wednesday-Friday
» morning or evening trips Saturday & Sunday
All trips are guided, we supply all flies, rods, reels,
rowboat etc. We keep a fly on your line and a fish
on your fly. Flycasting lessons if necessary are
included. Arrangements can be made for food
and beverages which are included. You are
welcome to bring your own equipment if you like,
we allow float tubes or other man-powered
water craft, no motors please
